Telephone Call Recording
Please be aware that all incoming and outgoing telephone calls to and from the practice are recorded. These recordings are used for:
- Staff training and service improvement
- Monitoring and auditing
- Patient safety and complaint resolution
Call recordings are stored securely and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Access is strictly limited to authorised personnel.
Appointment Recording by Registrar Doctors
Some consultations may be audio or video recorded by registrar doctors for educational purposes and inclusion in their professional training portfolio. These recordings help support their development and are reviewed under strict confidentiality.
If you do not wish for your appointment to be recorded, please inform the practice in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
