GP Registrar
A GP registrar is a fully qualified doctor who is training to become a General Practitioner (GP). They work in GP surgeries like ours to gain experience in treating patients in the community.
You might see a GP registrar during your appointment.
They can:
– Diagnose and treat illnesses
– Prescribe medication
– Refer you to specialists if needed
They are supervised by experienced GPs and are here to learn and grow into the role of a family doctor. You’ll still receive safe, professional care—just like you would with any other GP.
